On June 21, 2014, U of G will host the Conversat Ball, a gala evening filled with food and entertainment, in celebration of the University's 50th anniversary. More  RESEARCH DNA helps identify canine bacteria A dog's mouth contains hundreds of types of bacteria and a U of G researcher is studying what bacteria are present in sick versus healthy dogs. More   Research could turn tobacco into cancer treatment Tobacco is notorious for causing cancer, but U of G researchers are using the plants to create a biosimilar version of a breast cancer antibody. More  Researchers seek to alter risk of fall injuries for toddlers U of G researcher looks at ways to prevent serious head injuries among pre-schoolers. Falls are the leading cause of child visits to the emergency department.
