Hello! My name is Haley Clark and I am a first year Criminal Justice & Public Policy student. This year I will be riding in the advanced horsemanship division for the University of Guelph IHSA team. I am very excited for the new skills and friendships I hope to make as a result of the team and am very excited to work with Rick & Robyn!

 

 

 

 

Since as long as I can remember my life has involved horses. I started by riding ponies and then moved up to show the AQHA circuit in 2013 & 2014. My pony, dusty rose, started my show experience in western games events and western performance. In feburary of 2013 we introudced a AQHA mare snuffy "Hope Im Next". I ventured into the quarter horse world and loved it! Snuff and I became a good team and I learned some valuable riding skills from her. She helped me fall in love with the event trail and taught me a lot about the show pen. Due to injuries in the past two years we have been unable to show. Recently, I have bought a new four year old gelding, Finn, "On the Hot Seat" and am very excited about transferring the skills I learn from Rick and Robyn to Finn! 

As a member of the varsity team, I'm participating in this unique fundraiser that directly supports my experience as a student athlete. Adopt-a-Gryphon funds are used to purchase team equipment, support out-of-conference competitions or provide additional training aids. Horseback riding is never a cheap hobby/sport, and any donation to the team is appreticated!
