The Dog Jog has always been a personal event for me as the co-founder of this event. But this year it's particularly emotional.  The Dog Jog started because of Sadie. I started running because of her and because of this event.  She came out almost every year, even last year when she was 17, you couldn't keep her away.  She crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few months after but her legacy lives on.

Any donation you can spare goes to the OVC Pet Trust to help in their mission to help the pets we love live longer, healtier lives. Support from events like the OTS Dog Jog has led to major improvements in anesthesia and pain control, heart treatment and monitoring techniques, protecting pets and people from infections, advancing cancer diagnosis and treatment, understanding the human-animal bond, and much more.
