PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Guelph Family Health Study will offer the necessary materials to assist families in preparing healthy meals and foster awareness on the benefits of incorporating healthy ingredients into your everyday diet. This crowdfunding will assist in the creation of four seasonal recipe magazines to help to support the adoption of consistent family meal practices among families with young children. Each magazine will include healthful recipes using seasonally appropriate ingredients, meal plans, food preparation tips, and ideas on how parents can involve their children in meal preparation.
GOALS
The Guelph Family Health Study is a bold research endeavor designed to develop and test promotional strategies for families with young children to engage in healthy lifestyle habits. The primary objective of the study is to tackle the pressing challenges of obesity in an effort to prevent the related chronic diseases. Families with young children have a unique opportunity to start healthful habits early and make them last a lifetime. This project has a target of raising $5000 to fund their outreach.
