Welcome to the Guelph Gryphons Men's and Women's Varsity Wrestling Program!

Our athletes strive everyday to be the best that they can be both on and off the wrestling mats. The Guelph Wrestling team travels almost every weekend to tournaments all over Ontario and Canada.  Being an athlete as well as a student is not an easy feat for our athletes, they must attend classes, attend team workouts, and attend team practices every day. The extra time they do have is for school work, assignments, and doing their own workouts and practices. This does not leave much time for our athletes to work at a paying job. Many of our athletes rely on the support of alumni and friends to help them get through the school year.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help support our varsity athletes. Our fundraising priorities are:

Uniforms/practice gear: $2000

Travel: $5000

Team Sport Psychologist & Nutritionist: $1500

Team Physiotherapist: $1500

 

Our wrestlers are some of the hardest working athletes out there and we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
