OTS Dog Jog 2022 - VIRTUAL
EVENT UPDATE: Despite our hopes to gather in person this year, the 12th Annual OTS Dog Jog will be transitioned to a virtual event. On Sunday, March 27 we hope you will join us and share a photo or video of YOUR "jog"! Post a picture or video of your walk and tag OVC Pet Trust on Facebook and Twitter and/or @OntVetCollege on Instagram using the hashtag #OTSDogJog. Please help us reach our fundraising goal by donating online. The OTS Dog Jog team, along with OVC Pet Trust, would like to thank all participants, sponsors and volunteers for their support.
We challenge you to lace up your shoes and get moving in your own neighbourhood in support of the pets you love. Whether it’s walking, running, cycling, or anything in between, we want you to share it with us.
There will be a variety of prizes available to all our fundraising participants. All proceeds from the event will be donated to OVC Pet Trust.

What: OTS 12th Annual Dog Jog
When: Sunday, March 27, 2022 (or anytime during the month of March virtually).
Where: VIRTUAL - walk in your own neighbourhoods, favourite park etc.
Our fundraising goal for this year is $10,000.
The OTS Dog Jog will be following all University of Guelph and Public Health guidelines to ensure a safe and successful event for all. Please note the following COVID-19 protocols for our event:
All attendees for the OTS Dog Jog must complete the University of Guelph Screening Form before arriving at the event.
Attendees will be required to show the “green check” from the Screening Form to event staff when they arrive.
All attendees are required to wear medical masks while on the University of Guelph campus, including outdoor spaces.

OVC Pet Trust is Canada's first charitable fund entirely dedicated to advancing the health and well being of companion animals. Through generous donors, OVC Pet Trust funds a wide range of studies that help to improve the health of a variety of pet species. Omega Tau Sigma (OTS)
The Omega Tau Sigma Professional Veterinary Fraternity is a group of veterinary students that are dedicated to helping guide each other through the daily stress of life in veterinary school. We also recognize how vital it is to give back to our community and we feel that the OVC Pet Trust is very deserving of our support.

To be qualified as an active participant, you need to have raised/donated a minimum of $20. There will be a prize awarded to the top community fundraiser. In addition, for those belonging to an OVC class team, your minimum $20 donation earns you one ticket in the draw for the appropriate prize(s), with an additional ticket entered for every $20 increment you reach! If you would like to be considered for prizes, please make sure all your donations are recorded under your name online by 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 23rd.
